The most captivating item was Bajikarvesh. In this number Darshana, the youngest of the Zaveri sisters was at her best. She maintained beautiful balance between Abhinaya and Krishna Tandav. All dances emended a sense of truth, a sincerity that is rare today.

It gave Washingtontonians a chance to see a type of Indian dance not often presented in the country, the soft and flowing classical style from Manipur in Northeast India.
